Shah Rukh Khan

At Cornerstone Informal School, we believe that education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty—and Shah Rukh Khan’s journey stands as a living testimony to this truth.

Shah Rukh came from a humble and economically challenged background. His family struggled to meet daily needs, and quality education seemed like a distant dream. Private schooling was beyond their reach, and like many children in similar situations, his future could have easily been limited by circumstances.

However, everything began to change when Shah Rukh enrolled in Cornerstone Informal School in the 3rd standard. With no burden of fees, he was given a safe and nurturing environment where he could learn, grow, and dream. At Cornerstone, he was not just taught subjects—he was encouraged, mentored, and reminded that his life had purpose and potential.

Shah Rukh showed dedication and a strong desire to learn. His teachers noticed his sincerity and helped him build a strong academic foundation. More importantly, they instilled confidence in him—a belief that he could achieve something meaningful in life.

After completing his primary education at Cornerstone, Shah Rukh transitioned into a government school for his higher studies. Though the journey was not easy, the foundation he received helped him continue with determination. He worked hard, remained focused, and never gave up despite challenges.

Today, Shah Rukh Khan is pursuing a physiotherapy course from the reputed KR Mangalam College. This milestone is not just his personal achievement, but a reflection of what can happen when the right opportunity meets a willing heart.

His journey from a child who could not afford basic education to a young man building a professional career is a powerful example of transformation through education.

At Cornerstone Informal School, we are proud to have been part of Shah Rukh’s journey. His story inspires us to continue our mission—to reach more children, to provide free and quality education, and to help them rise above their circumstances.

Because one educated child can change not just their own life, but the future of an entire family—and eventually, a community.
