Khushboo’s journey is a powerful example of transformation through education. Coming from a humble background, she joined the Cornerstone Tuition Center at the age of 8th. where she received free education, guidance, and encouragement till here 8th standard. Despite her passion for learning, her family was initially not supportive of her pursuing higher education. At this crucial stage, we personally met and spoke with Khushboo’s parents, encouraging them to allow her to continue her studies. With patience and trust-building, they were convinced, and Khushboo was able to move forward with her education.
Today, she is pursuing her final year of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), continuing her journey with determination and confidence. What makes her story even more inspiring is that she not only studied at the Cornerstone Education Center but also returned to serve—teaching as a teacher in the same center for one year. Initially, her family was hesitant to allow her to step out and teach, but through continued conversations and support, both I and my wife, Sharon, were able to encourage and convince them. Eventually, they agreed, and Khushboo stepped into a teaching role, becoming a role model for other girls in her community.
Her journey from a student to a teacher reflects growth, courage, and a deep desire to give back. Khushboo’s story stands as one of the proud achievements of Cornerstone Informal School, showing how education can not only transform an individual life but also influence families and communities. Through such journeys, Cornerstone continues to impact and change the lives of many girls, helping them overcome social barriers, pursue education, and become confident individuals shaping a better future.
